I really enjoy the renewal classes and refreshers provided by Michael Grimler. The content is always very helpful and educational. Michael is an exceptional instructor.

Great class , I highly recommend it.

As a NRA Training Counselor I have evaluated many instructors, Michael is a superb instructor! He shares his knowledge, experience and real world examples. Michael is current with New Mexico legislation and national legal trends across the US. I recommend taking the full day course, it will be worth your while. I’ve taken Michael’s course three times so far, and look forward to the next.

Teacher is very knowledgeable with concealed carry weapon information and makes the class very interesting and fun to attend.

The class was very informational and was presented very well. There were enough breaks and I really enjoyed it, it really helped me moving forward to carry a concealed weapon, I would recommend this class and instructor to other personnel who are interested in taking a CC class.

This class was very informative. Having been permitted in other states, this was definitely the most amount of training and information I have ever received in a concealed carry class. The class size was small which gave a personalized feel. I appreciated Mike’s willingness to answer our questions thoroughly and provide examples to explain scenarios and laws. The knowledge shared on resources for additional training, equipment, and learning was also very helpful. The club was clean and comfortable. All around positive experience and would sign up with Mike again for my renewal.

My second great class with Mr. Grimler. It was only the Refresher Class, but still a lot of fun. I really hope that he is still offering classes in two years when I have to do my Renewal Class. Thank you Michael, keep ‘em in the 9 ring!

Michael is an exceptional instructor. He knows the material and remains well informed of changes over time. He presents it effectively. He engages with the class, taking time to listen to and address questions with care and sensitivity. His focus on and awareness of range safety is commendable.

I always enjoy your classes. Updates on current laws and legislation is valuable. And the anecdotal incidents that illustrate what can happen provide food for thought.

Wish you would have shown revolver reload before range time. That is the way I learned to do it but was afraid to do it since it points up not downrange. You always do an excellent job.

The renewal class was every bit as a good as the initial CCW class. The content is relevant, educational, and Michael does a great job of conveying the information. Further, safety takes priority, and Michael is very good at making what could be a stressful experience (course of fire), nonintimidating and confidence building. Thanks Michael - see you in a couple years, if not sooner.

Michael know his stuff, likely more than anyone else in the area. He also knows how to teach a good and effective class. He is particularly accommodating in helping students through technical issues with their equipment. Very highly recommended, couldn’t hope for better.

I thought the legal review was excellent; it’s the best I have ever encountered. The implications of Concealed Carry in NM are complex and Mr. Grimler has done an excellent job trying to make us more aware of our responsibilities and potential liabilities. The citations of NM law were completely new to me. The range shooting exercise was also excellent because range safety and awareness were discussed and then demonstrated. Overall, this was the best refresher I have ever attended.

Very in-depth presentation on NM laws and the personal responsibilities of CCW holders.  Range and course of fire were very safe and run efficiently.  I have recommend Mike’s course to friends who have expressed an interest in CCW.
